Facing the death penalty, on trial for murder, a boy’s life hangs on the scales of justice. 12 individuals must decide his guilt or innocence. Will justice prevail or prejudice? A tense examination of the American way.

Please prepare a 1 – 2 minute monologue of your choice.
It is preferred that you are off-book (memorized), but it is not required.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - All Students of QCC are encouraged to audition.
All Theatre Majors are REQUIRED to Audition. You do not have to accept a role. Auditions begin at the listed time. 30 minutes prior, a sign-in sheet will be posted outside the Shadowbox Theatre. Actors will be seen first-come, first-served. Please be prepared to stay for at least one hour.
Note: You may be invited to attend callback and first rehearsal. Please keep the dates/times available. If you are not able to attend these dates, you may let us know at the audition.
*Callback /ˈkôlˌbak/ noun - an invitation to return for a second audition or interview. If you are requested to attend the callback, it means that the director would like to have the opportunity to further assess your skills. If you are not requested to attend the callback, it means the director has seen all they need to see at the initial audition.
There is no relationship between your callback status and final casting.

Please Note: in order to be cast, you must be available to register for the Actors Workshop Course which meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:10pm–4:40pm of the Spring Semester.
