Prospective-Students Documents

Dear Student,

On your CUNY application you indicated an interest in the College Discovery Program (CD) at Queensborough Community College.  This opportunity program provides academic support, counseling, tutorial support and financial assistance, if you are eligible. In order to be considered for the program, you must do the following as soon as possible:

  1. File online the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA at and file a TAP application at
  1. Complete your Placement tests when invited to do so by the Queensborough Community College Testing Department.

Bring your Financial Aid documents (family federal income tax forms and W2 forms) to the College Discovery Office and make an appointment to meet with Ms. Michelle Yeung, the Financial Aid Counselor, located in the Library Bldg. room L-440.  We can be reached by telephone at 718 631-6210 or by email at
