You can still attend College this spring! Queensborough is accepting applications for the Spring 2017 semester through on the spot admission. An appointment is not necessary. Just walk in and our friendly admissions staff will assist you! Please see below for the information you will need to bring with you when you apply.

How to Apply

Transfer and Freshman applications need to submit the following information directly to the Office of Admissions:
 

Freshman Applicants

You are considered a freshman applicant if you have not previously attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school since graduating high school.

  • Official high school transcript from all high schools attended, or original GED Diploma with score sheet attached. An official transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution issuing it. If the high school will not give you an official transcript, please have it mailed to the Office of Admissions, 222-05 56th Avenue, A-210, Bayside, New York 11354.
    If you have the transcript mailed directly to you, please do not open it. Once opened, it is not considered official.
  • Application fee of $65 (USD). Payable by credit card, check, money order or cash.

Transfer Applicants

You are considered a transfer applicant if you have attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school since graduating from high school. This applies whether or not you are seeking transfer credit and/or changing a program of study.

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended. An official transcript must be in a sealed envelope from the institution issuing it. If the institution will not give you an official transcript, please have it mailed to the Office of Admissions, 222-05 56th Avenue, A-210, Bayside, New York 11354. If you have the transcript mailed directly to you, please do not open it. Once opened, it is no longer official.

  • If you are a CUNY student, you do not need to request a copy of this transcript to send to us. We will have access to your transcript.

  • Application fee of $70 (USD). Payable by credit card, check, money order or cash.

Special Categories

If you are a student who has completed all or part of your education outside the United States and U.S. territories, you cannot file directly for admission at the college. You must apply through the University Processing Center (UAPC) for the Spring 2017 semester. Please see CUNY’s Undergraduate Admissions page for more information.

Directions from Long Island by car using the Northern State Parkway or the Southern State Parkway:
Take either the Northern State Parkway west or the Southern State Parkway west to the Cross Island Parkway north. Once on the Cross Island Parkway north take the Long Island Expressway west exit. Once on the Long Island Expressway west, stay in the entrance lane and immediately exit to Springfield Boulevard (exit 29). At the traffic light turn right onto Springfield Boulevard, then turn right on to 56th Avenue. The main entrance of Queensborough Community College is one block away on the left-hand side.
