Showing gratitude serves to improve physical and mental health, enhance empathy and reduce aggression, improve sleep and information processing, boost self-esteem, and support resilience. Tuesday 11/29 11am-12pm Q&A with a Counselor This will be an open forum for students to drop in to ask questions and raise concerns they may have about our services or counseling in general. Tuesday 11/29 12pm -1:30pm Stress Reflection Interactive workshop on how stress afects us. We will discuss how our mind and body responds to stress, what causes stress, how we react to stress, and how we cope with stress. We will end with creating an action plan for managing stress. Tuesday 11/29 1pm-2pm Sleep For Your Wellness and Success Adequate good quality sleep is essential for overall well-being and academic success. We will discuss the conditions that support good quality sleep, and ways in which sleep (or lack of it!) impacts daily functioning.
