COVID Planning Town Hall

Dear Colleagues:

Please join President Christine Mangino, governance leaders, and members of the Emergency Management Team for our July Town Hall Zoom meeting (webinar format) next Wednesday, the 28th from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

We will discuss what we learned since last month’s COVID-19 Town Hall, the College's plan for our return this fall, and we'll answer your questions.

CUNY has also released answers to many frequently asked questions, which we encourage all faculty and staff to review as soon as possible:

Please also remember that getting vaccinated is the single most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19. It's also the best thing that we can do, together, to prepare for a successful fall.

All active employees who submit appropriate documentation for vaccination appointments that occur during regularly scheduled work time will be given up to 4 hours of paid time off for each dose for a total of up to 8 hours. Vaccines are still available on campus in the RFK Building through Friday, July 23. Starting on Monday, July 26 a mobile vaccination site will be located in front of the College on 56th Avenue. Additional details will be posted on the vaccine website as more information becomes available.

Please register now for the upcoming Town Hall. You can submit questions during the event using Zoom’s live chat feature.

Wednesday, July 28
12:00pm to 1:00pm

As always, we welcome your suggestions and feedback at COVID19Coordinator@qcc.cuny.edu.
