Color pencils for Intermediates

Students will build on existing knowledge to acquire further skills, learning color layering, composition using the rule of thirds. Students will also use a view finder, learn underpainting and overpainting in color pencils. Students will be given encouragement, constructive criticism, and technical advice, while learning a new vocabulary.

Art supplies:

Pencil 2B, SOFT Prisma color or Spectra Color pencil set, Strathmore drawing pad, ruler, tracing paper, eraser, (electric or battery operated is best) sharpener, erasing shield, desk brush, colorless blender.

Students are responsible for materials.
