Make an Appointment

To schedule a tutoring appointment at the Student Learning Center, you may:

1) Visit the Center in L-115

2) Use TutorTrac, the SLC’s online appointment system.  The directions are below.

The Student Learning Center offers content tutoring for all credit bearing courses with the exception of mathematics, reading, and writing.  For tutoring in those areas please visit the following centers:

Math Learning Center – S-216

Campus Writing Center – L-113

To Log in to TutorTrac

  1. Access TutorTrac using the following link:

  2. To log in, enter your QCC username and password. Your username is the first part of your QCC Tigermail (before the @ symbol) and your password is your Tigermail password.  (For example, if your email is, then your username is jsong23.)

To Schedule an Appointment

  1. To the left of the screen, click on the box labeled Search Availability.

  2. In the box labeled Center, select Student Learning Center.

  3. In the box labeled Section, select the course for which you would like a tutor.  

  4. In the box labeled Reason, select the reason you are coming to tutoring.

  5. It is recommended that you leave the Consultant box blank.

  6. Click Search.  The available time slots for tutoring will appear.

  7. Click on the day and time that works for you. The Appointments Entry screen will appear.

  8. Enter your phone number. This is required. We may need to contact you regarding your appointment.

  9. Click Save. You must click Save in order for your appointment to be processed.

  10. An automated email will be sent to your Tigermail account confirming your appointment.

To Cancel an Appointment

  1. Login to TutorTrac.

  2. On the TutorTrac Main Menu page you will see a list of your upcoming appointments.

  3. Click on the “x” next to the appointment you wish to cancel.

  4. A confirmation box will appear.

  5. Do not leave any messages in the note box.

  6. Click Confirm Cancellation.

  7. An automated email will be sent to your Tigermail confirming your cancellation.

To Log off

  1. To the left of the screen, click on the box labeled Log Off.
