Health and Allied Services Programs
Health & Allied Services Programs
The Office of Pre-College, Continuing Education and Workforce Development continues to offer many choices to those seeking a career change or to individuals who are just starting out in the workforce. Employment opportunities in health and allied services professions (which cover areas such as Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, Emergency Medical Technicians, etc.) continues to grow. However, with so many options, it is important to explore what kind of training each certification entails, what the job availability is for that specific position and what kind of salary to expect.
The Office of Pre-College, Continuing Education and Workforce Development can help navigate these steps and develop your career goals. Stay abreast of the programs we offer each semester by requesting a catalog, liking our Facebook page or simply stopping by our office in the Library Building, Room L118P. Make an appointment to meet with one of our career counselors to discuss your options and get you on the right track.
