Welcome to Queensborough Community College and congratulations on taking the first step in a journey that will change your life. For more than 50 years, Queensborough has prepared students for an exciting new career or for transfer to a four-year program. Queensborough offers admission to high school graduates and GED recipients who wish to enroll as either degree (matriculated) or non-degree students (non-matriculated).
Our Freshman Academies provide a personalized experience and coordinated support system to help first-year students begin college successfully. The six Freshman Academies are Business, Education, Health-Related Sciences, Liberal Arts, STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics) and Visual and Performing Arts.
