Faculty Vacancy Announcement:

Performs teaching and related faculty functions in area(s) of expertise.

The English Department is seeking two to three experienced lecturers.

Teach first-year writing and work with a diverse student population. Contribute to the work of the department by mentoring students, working on departmental and college-wide committees, and participating in faculty development opportunities. Evening/weekend schedules may be required.

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.


- Master of Arts degree in English

- Community College experience in composition

- Experience working with diverse student populations and familiarity with instructional technology and student-centered pedagogical practices (including learning communities) 


Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
