Program Director, Jacqueline Montgomery

Jacqueline Montgomery is the Director of the Connect2College Program, the Kids & Teens Pre-College program, and the After School Academy at Queensborough Community College. Jacqueline focuses on the development of youth programs that include STE@M method of teaching children. Prior to coming to QCC, Jacqueline was the Director of United Cerebral Palsy of NYC. She has always been an advocate for all individuals of all abilities. Jacqueline is a former board member for the Continuning Education Association of New York (CEANY); she has an advanced graduate degree in Disability Studies and is finishing her Master’s in the same program at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. As program director of C2C, Jacqueline oversees all aspects of the program including seeking new partnership opportunities with high schools and QCC's academic departments.

Program Coordinator, Darlene O'Rourke

Darlene O'Rourke is the Coordinator for the Connect2College program and has been working in the Office of Pre-College, Continuing Education & Workforce Development for the past eight years. During that time, Darlene has been the Marketing coordinator for many programs but most consistently for the Kids, Teens and After School Academy. Darlene also project managed a federally funded program for at-risk high school students who were given the opportunity to take college credit classes on QCC's campus. Darlene has an MBA in Marketing and as the program coordinator, she is responsible for overseeing the student enrollment, data collection and management along with continuing to develop and expand the program.

Program Assistant, Dorine Touwsma

Dorine Touwsma is the Program Assistant for the Connect2College program. She is a firm supporter of Community College and Public Education, having completed her BFA at SUNY Purchase. Dorine is responsible for ensuring all student data is correctly entered into CUNY First so that students receive their credits. Dorine also closely assists in collecting and organizing program documentation and reporting. Dorine is excited to be part of this team, and happy to help with any queries.
