Agency Attorney

Description: FISA is seeking an Agency Attorney who will work primarily on information technology (IT) contracts, but with significant additional responsibilities. Working under direction with wide latitude for independent judgment and unreviewed action and decision, the Agency Attorney will focus primarily on reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and interpreting complex IT agreements, including being responsible for all aspects of such contracts from start to finish. These agreements may cover matters such as: acquisition of hardware, software, and/or related services; maintenance and support; systems implementation; and other matters arising at a governmental IT agency. All agreements must also comply with City and agency policy and procedure.

Salary HIRING RATE: $70,034, INCUMBENT RATE: $80,539, MAXIMUM: $103,389

Special Skills & Requirements 1. Opinions and policy statements; advising on questions of law, fact and administrative policy; 2. Representing the agency at meetings; advocating for the agency at disciplinary hearings, fitness 3.Hearings, grievances, and in EEO and ADA matters, etc., including drafting all necessary 4. Documents for such and being responsible for all aspects of the proceedings from beginning to end. 5. Excellent written and oral communications skills, and interpersonal skills. 6.
