Two-to-three-year-old Lead Teacher

Description: Morning Star Preschool in Bayside is currently seeking for a candidate to be a two-to-three-year-old Lead Teacher. This is a full time position. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and cooperative. Candidate must be very energetic and be able to work well as a team! The working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and is expected to work for the Summer Program. -Participate in staff meetings and professional development. -Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment. -Develop and implement weekly lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for the children. -Daily communication with parents (this includes a weekly newsletter). -Attend to children's basic needs through feeding, dressing and changing diapers (if necessary). -Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order and organization in the classroom.

About the Company: We are a childcare center that offer full day UPK service for 4 years old students. We also offer childcare service for children age 2-5. Regular school day is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and extended hours are available from 7:30 to 6 p.m. Our teachers are licensed NYS teachers with qualification specifically in Early Childhood. Teacher Assistants are trained qualified personnel with training in Child Abuse, CPR/First Aid, Infectious Disease Control and Food Service Protection.
