Telemundo Immigration Phone Bank - volunteers needed

Description: In light of recent events, the Hispanic Federation would like to share solidarity and strength with the immigrant community. We are committed to supporting our immigrant brothers and sisters, and will fight to protect them. Hispanic Federation will be partnering with Telemundo to inform New Yorkers about their rights as DACAmented and undocumented immigrants. Now more than ever, it is time for all of us to be allies. Immigrants of all statuses are afraid and confused – we need to act now. During our campaign, Telemundo will be promoting HF’s hotline, 1-866-HF-AYUDA, and trained HF volunteers will answer callers’ questions and connect callers with essential resources. Dinner is included! Spanish-speaking volunteers will be needed for the following shifts: • Thursday, September 14th: 4:30PM-7:30PM • Friday, September 15th: 10:00AM – 5:00PM And/or 4:30PM-7:30PM • Monday, September 18th: 10:00AM – 5:00PM
