Medical Assistant/Ophthalmic Technician

Description: • Ophthalmology office in Flushing seeking an enthusiastic student to work closely with a Columbia University-associated physician. The student will learn how to work with patients, assist the physician, and take ophthalmic photographs. The physician has been working and teaching medical students and residents of Columbia University for almost 20 years. She has also mentored several students applying and entering medical school, physician assistant school and optometry school. • Days/Hours: Part time -- 2-3 days (choice between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) -- each day 9-5:30
