Free Coding Bootcamp for Graduates and Students

Description: This opportunity focused primarily on getting graduating seniors and recent alumni of ALL majors ready for their future careers in technology by closing the gap between graduation and employment. Participants who enroll in the 12-week Bootcamp will receive $11-$12 per hour of training as a living allowance, nationally recognized certification, and guaranteed employment upon successful completion with a starting salary of $50,000-$60,000. Revature’s mission is to create a pathway where university graduates with diverse backgrounds can build the knowledge, skills and abilities to reach their potential as technology professionals. Boot Camps will be located at Queens College Campus and the CUNY School of Professional Studies in the beginning of June 2017 Before Training: • Interested individuals will sign up online: • Revature will contact individuals and conduct a web interview/technology screening • Individuals either receive acceptance into training or become streamlined into online program During Training: • Individuals work on 3 projects, some task in groups • 1 General presentation for completed projects After Training: • Individuals undergo a Panel Assessment (Quality Assurance) • Individuals graduate program and receive certifications- upon successful completion • Individuals undergo the hiring process- upon successful completion

Special Skills & Requirements Eligible participants must be • Recent alumni (graduated in the past 1-3 years) • Graduating Seniors (due to graduate in May) Time and Commitment: • Bootcamp currently located at Queens College and will also now be offered at the CUNY School for Professional Studies • The Bootcamp runs for approximately 12 weeks • This Bootcamp is full-time training from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday 9due to summer Fridays, schedule may change) • Participants receive approximately $12(the minimum wage range for NY) per hour of training • After successfully completing the Bootcamp, participants commit to working for Revature for 2 years with a starting salary between $50,000 and $60,000.
