Special Skills & Requirements Swim Directors must be at least 21 years of age, have 3 seasons of previous waterfront experience as a lifeguard and/or camp pool director and possess a current Water Safety Instructors Certificate (r.09) from the American Red Cross, YMCA or other recognized training programs. The Swim Director position requires participation in a series of pre-camp training sessions in the late spring and four days of all-staff training before camp begins.
