Community Arts Teaching Artist Internship

Description: Teach art lessons to children ages 15 months – adult (main focus is 15mos – 8yrs) • We’re mobile, so our Teaching Artist Intern will have to travel to our sites • Prep, implement and clean up after every lesson (leave space better than found) J we are also happy neighbors • Give input on curriculum/feedback from parents and students • Carry materials to and from class site • Maintain class roster

You can find us every weekend in the bright creative space of Artist and Craftsman Supply, an art warehouse in Long Island City, with paint brushes, smocks, vocab words, music and lots and lots of art making! We centrally based in Forest Hills, NY. Our students range from 15 months – adults. Yes, we are here for the whole family + community!
