Telehealth Technician Associate (TTA)

Description: The purpose of the Telehealth Technician Associate (TTA) is to promote the telehealth program in the community. This person should have strong desire to interact with community members and encourage regular participation in the TIPS program. The primary responsibilities of the TTA involve assisting clients to take vital signs, answer questions, send two-way communication between the client and nurse, and provide health coaching and education. The TTA is a key member of the TIPS team and represent the program in the community setting. It is expected of the TTA to voice both his or her professional feedback and feedback from the community at large so that the TIPS program may adapt the program to best serve the community needs to create a long lasting impact on healthcare in the community. Assist in taking vitals using mobile health technology: o Collect blood oxygen, blood pressure, pulse and weight readings o Assist in two way messaging communication between client and remote nurse o Follow proper protocols and procedures to ensure accurate readings o Conduct basic technical troubleshooting as trained • Provide basic health education and coaching: o Motivational support and encouragement o Promotion of health related programs available in the community o Provide health education as instructed by Telehealth clinical staff • Coordinate care with in-person and remote care team: o Communication with remote PCA o Communication with on-site and remote program nurse(s) • Community representation: o Promotion and representation of Telehealth program o Report community feedback to PCA o Use on-site commun
