Family Support Services AmeriCorps member

Description: The member will work with the Chinese community by helping individuals access food stamps, discuss housing issues, and learn about available resources for those in need of critical services. The member will serve with a team of counselors and will be trained to serve the community regarding various health and wellness issues. This member will speak exclusively in Mandarin while meeting with residents.

Salary $1,100 a month, plus an educational award of $5,645 at the end of the year.
