Volunteer Relations Project Leader (AmeriCorps)

Description: Your responsibilities will include working with the Director of Volunteer Relations. You will assist with all aspects of outreach to recruit older adult volunteers, particularly in but not limited to the borough of Queens. This is part of an organization wide initiative to diversify the volunteer base of New York Cares. Specific responsibilities include: leading information sessions; conducting volunteer orientations; rollup up by telephone, email and general mail with volunteers and orienteers to assist with project sigh up; leading daytime volunteer projects; ensuring that orientation and project feedback is reported to New York Cares; and performing program related administrative duties.
