Description: Carthage is a high paced, high pressure environment, where every project is modeled around hard deadlines and has millions of dollars at stake. Reporting to the organizations Acquisition Manager this intern will gain exposure to commercial real estate, development, business development, sales, marketing, within the affordable housing industry in a fast pace, dynamic company. The right candidate will be an analytical, very organized, detailed oriented, self-motivated, communicative, person with strong verbal and writing skills. Most importantly the candidate must be able to gather and organize research from various sources, be it on line, over the phone and or in-person. What you will learn • Various affordable Housing sectors • Federal, State, and Municipal government subsidies • Regional programs and research multi-family investment properties throughout the North-East and Mid-Atlantic Regions • Real Estate development / project management • Business Development • Researching, aggregating, and analyzing property ownership data from various state and federal agencies • Assisting in the implementation of a marketing campaign to public and private organizations consisting both online and traditional marketing methods • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials • Aggregate, maintain, and organize contact information on various public, private, and non-profit executives throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. • Organizing a schedule of various industry events to attend • Research, source, and analyze various government agencies for Request For Proposal (RFP) or Request For Qualifications ( RFQ) opportunities from various municipalities throughout the North-East and Mid-Atlantic region • Assist in the preparation and creation of proposals submitted to various Municipalities and Finance agencies
