Development

Description: This Development Intern works with the Development Department to gain experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, and special events planning. Development Interns support the department with preparing correspondence with individual donors; processing and tracking individual gifts; maintaining Development Department files and records; researching potential foundations and grants; and planning fundraisers and other events, such as Opening Nights and patron receptions. In their time at The New Group, Development Interns gain experience with Patron Manager and Audience View. Any prior experience with those programs (or comparable programs) is a plus.
