Description: Reporting to the I.T. Program Manager, the SharePoint Administrator assists with the day-to-day administration, configuration, and integrity of the SharePoint 2010 environment; designing, developing, configuring and deploying SharePoint applications; and making informed recommendations pertaining to SharePoint information and site architecture, infrastructure, and software implementation. This position requires strong hands-on technical skills in the areas of SharePoint administration and development, with responsibilities equally divided between the two areas. RESPONSIBILITIES •Supporting the current SharePoint environment will be the primary focus. This includes development, configuration, security management, workflow, and other administration tasks. •Participating in planning and execution to SharePoint 2013. •Evaluating document control procedures to verify best practices. •Providing alternatives and new ideas for requested technical solutions regarding content management. •Consulting with personnel at all levels of the organization to discuss business requirements and potential solutions. •Analyzing and designing functional and non-functional SharePoint systems software requirements. •Addressing and reconciling problems in accordance to scope, timeline, and budgetary parameters. •Training users on processes and systems. •Preparing test plans, lead testing efforts and implement defined solutions. •Remaining abreast of current technologies and best practices. •Monitoring the performance and utilization of SharePoint to ensure uptime and performance metrics meet required targets. •Performing assigned duties consistent with the policies and procedures defined and approved by Flushing Bank. •Other duties as may become necessary for the benefit of Flushing Bank or the IT department.
