QPAC Presents "Vanessa Williams:  Live In Concert!!"

Live in concert, QPAC presents one of the most respected and multi-faceted performers in the entertainment industry today.  Vanessa Williams grew from chart-topping pop singer to critically acclaimed Broadway performer with her roles in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Into The Woods, Trip To Bountiful, After Midnight and for television, Show Boat and Bye Bye Birdie.  Williams received considerable media attention for her comic/villainess role as former model/magazine creative director turned editor-in-chief Wilhelmina Slate in the ABC comedy series Ugly Betty. Williams next joined the cast of Desperate Housewives for its seventh season, and has also been featured on The Good Wife, Royal Pains and The Mindy Project.  Her critically acclaimed work in film, television, recordings and on Broadway have been recognized by every major industry award affiliation, garnering her 4 Emmy nominations, 17 Grammy nominations, a Tony nomination, a Golden Globe, a Grammy and an Oscar for the song Colors of the Wind from the Disney movie Pocahontas.
