Queensborough's hopes of a win were dashed by the Rockland Hawks, as the Tigers fell to 0-5-1 on the season.
An early score by Carlos Perez marked the first Tigers goal at home on the season, and gave QCC a 1-0 lead. Rockland would strike back quickly with a game-tying goal by Leigh Marcellin. Exactly one minute later Hawks sophomore Schwartz Abellard gave Rockland a 2-1 lead.
Three goals had been scored twenty-five minutes into the game, but that would be all the scoring on this day. Rockland's attempts to pad the lead failed, but Queensborough could not net the game-tying goal they desperately needed.
