Assistant Professor, Social Sciences

I am an assistant professor of Criminal Justice in the Social Sciences at Queensborough Community College (QCC). My research focuses on first responders. My past research has focused on the challenges facing emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics. I continue to study first responders and have expanded by research into issues of school safety, bullying behaviors, Holocaust education for the criminal justice classroom and perceptions of human trafficking. I am currently working with several student to work on existing data sets as well as mentoring this group develop their own research for presentation at national and local conferences.
