NY Vaccination Site Open at Queensborough Community College!
New Yorkers have easier access to COVID-19 vaccinations with the opening of a New York City Department of Health designated dispensing site at Queensborough Community College located at 222-05 56th Avenue. The site opened on Wednesday, April 21 and administered over 1,000 vaccines on its first day!
Operating from the college's Robert. F. Kennedy Hall, New York residents aged 12 years and older can now get their COVID-19 vaccination without an appointment. For vaccine related questions or hours of operation, please visit NYC Health COVID-19: Vaccines or call 877-VAX-4NYC or 877-829-4692. This site is independent of Queensborough Community College and we regret that we are unable to answer vaccine-related questions.
Limited campus parking is available and the college is accessible by public transportation. Get directions to the campus.
*1407 vaccines have been administered so far at Queensborough.
The college, operating virtually since March 2020 due to COVID-19, will return to campus this fall at a reduced capacity and will welcome new and returning students to flexible and convenient online, on-campus, and hybrid courses. New Yorkers interested in starting or continuing their college education this fall can apply now.
The site, operated by the New York City Department of Health and Hospital for Special Surgery, administers the Pfizer vaccine. Students from Queensborough Community College's top-ranked nursing program are on site to assist with vaccine distribution.
We are proud to bring the City's vaccination program to northeastern Queens. Getting vaccinated is the most important step we can take to protect our community.
