Division of Student Affairs

Welcome to the Fall 2022 semester! We are excited to see you back on campus! While we classes are online, hybrid, and in-person, Student Affairs will continue to support your educational journey at Queensborough both in-person and remotely. The Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management services, resources, and programs will remain available to our students via virtual platforms and through in-person appointments. Please review our website to view how we can support you.

We encourage you to stay engaged with your faculty, advisors, classmates, and friends. Please check your QCC email and download our QCC Connect app.

We also recognize that these past couple of months have been challenging and may be overwhelming. Please note that Queensborough CARES about you! Our Counseling area is here to support, click HERE for more information. CUNY has also partnered with the CRISIS TEXT LINE to provide support for all our students. If you are struggling with any emotional or psychological concerns, you can text ‘CUNY’ to 741741 and it will initiate a free and confidential conversation with a trained volunteer.

If you have classes on campus or need access to campus, click HERE to review the Campus Access Guidelines . For the latest CUNY updates regarding vaccinations and other frequently asked questions, click HERE. If you require a laptop, tablet, or hotspot, click HERE for more information on how to request a loaner device.

We will continue to look for opportunities to engage with you via phone call, email, social media, Zoom video conference, or out in the Humanities Quadrangle.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email my office at StudentAffairs@qcc.cuny.edu.

I wish you a safe and successful fall semester!  #GoTigers

The Division of Student Affairs supports the mission of the College to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions and for entry into the job market by providing a network of quality student support programs and services that are culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate for our diverse, urban student body. The Division is committed to the goals of human development, a lifelong process that encompasses mastery of knowledge, cultural awareness, clarification of values, self-awareness, and refinement.

The Division is committed to student access to higher education both physical and programmatic, and to student success as measured by persistence, goal attainment, academic standing, and personal development.

The Division is concerned with all aspects of student life on campus. Its members participate in a number of services and programs designed to help students achieve academic and personal success. In addition, the Division fosters community involvement and encourages students to be aware of the value of their individual contributions to society.

The Division seeks to foster the growth of a positive sense of identity in all members of the College community and to create a campus climate that contributes to a pluralistic learning experience, celebrates diversity, combats bigotry, and promotes harmony among all people.
