QCC Immigrant and Undocumented Student Liaison Network

Queensborough Community College is committed to supporting students from all backgrounds, regardless of immigration status. The Immigrant and Undocumented Student Liaison Network connects students with campus contacts who can help answer questions, identify resources, and support students as they navigate college. Our work aligns with CUNY’s Office of Immigrant and Undocumented Student Programs which is committed to advocate for and empower immigrant students, including undocumented students, DACA recipients, TPS holders, asylum seekers, refugees, and others with changing immigration circumstances.

Our Purpose

The QCC Immigrant and Undocumented Student Liaison Network is designed to create a welcoming, informed, and student-centered point of support for students who may have questions related to college access, financial aid, scholarships, campus resources, and referrals to trusted immigration-related services.  While the network does not provide legal advice, our liaisons can help students understand where to start, who to contact, and what resources may be available through QCC, CUNY, and community partners.

How We Can Help

Students may contact the liaison network for support with:

  • Understanding campus and CUNY resources for immigrant and undocumented students
  • Navigating questions about admissions, enrollment, and college services
  • Learning about financial aid options, including New York State Dream Act information
  • Connecting with scholarship resources
  • Finding referrals to CUNY Citizenship Now! and other trusted immigration support services
  • Identifying campus offices that can support academic, personal, financial, and career-related needs
