Good question!  Here is the answer and in a good bit of detail.  

1. Completing the TEN STEPS =0 point

2. Q=Class Participation & Discussion: 28 classes  1 points each= 28%

3. A= Written Assignments (12 Papers 6 points each ):  72%

4. BONUS POINTS  will be added to your total.  There will be several opportunities to earn bonus points throughout the semester.

FINAL GRADE   THIS IS DETERMINED BY THE TOTAL POINTS A STUDENT EARNS BY THE END OF THE SEMESTER.

 The college has an academic integrity policy and program.  You may be severely penalized for violations of academic integrity.  Learn about it and observe the principles.  Among other things you must avoid plagiarism.

1. First offense - the student receives the grade of "0" for the assignment and the possibility of more severe action at the discretion of the instructor.
