On Wednesday, Apr 21, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM

This Faculty Development is for Faculty and Staff

This workshop will highlight techniques for how empathic awareness can be incorporated in the practice of teaching whether in the physical or remote classroom settings. In addition, it will address the challenges and misconceptions of developing a pedagogy of empathy. Through lens of caring, we will also reflect on what we have gained or lost in empathic awareness teaching in the physical versus remote learning environment.
