Selma the movie

In honor of Black History Month, the Queensborough Community College Student Government Association (SGA) invites you to watch the film Selma, a chronicle of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s campaign to secure equal voting rights via the epic March from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965. After the film, we will briefly discuss the importance of voting and provide resources on registering to vote. Light refreshments will be served.
