This Performing Arts and Film is for Students, Faculty and Staff

Presented by the New York Chinese Opera Society

Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and the Asian Heritage Month Committee

This one-hour Event regarding Chinese Opera will contain a brief historical introduction of the style of this art form, and an explanation of how to appreciate it. This will be followed by a Demonstration from two famous Operas.

Through a combination of live and pre-recorded video, attendees will be treated to two famous dramatic pieces, Kunqu and Peking Opera. Event is open to students, Faculty and Staff.
