This Performing Arts and Film is for General Public

Renowned performers Michelle Abraham Kantor (violin) and Peter Takacs (piano) will collaborate as guest artists at the QCC Music Department to perform an all-Beethoven concert in celebration of the composer's 250th birthday. As Beethoven's violin sonatas are truly a partnership of equal virtuosity, audiences will delight in a demonstration of the genius of this influential composer, interpreted with the utmost skill and musicianship by two of the most virtuosic musicians in classical music today. Alongside the performance will be a Q&A session led by the performers, specifically on issues concering Beethoven's music and legacy as well as inquiries about the pursuit of a career in classical music performance. Free and open to the public, the QCC Music Department invites you to share with us this very special event that will be uplifting, inspiring, and educational. For inquiries about this event, please contact Dr. Scott Litroff, Assistant Professor of Music at QCC.
