Domestic Violence Awareness Exposition

Queensborough and CUNY are closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus), and our top priority is the well-being of our students, faculty and staff.

Due to current concerns about COVID-19, all student club events and activities have been canceled or postponed. Opportunities for virtual gatherings for clubs and events will be determined at a later date.

This Special Event / Fair is for Students, Faculty and Staff

Purple ribbon symbolizing October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

This event will offer informational tabling and other free services that are available to victims/survivors of domestic violence and their families. Numerous organizations will be present to provide information about safety planning, shelter, legal advocacy, child care, counseling, and more. Some of the organizations that will be tabling focus on domestic violence issues that are unique to LGBTQ+ groups, as well as disabled individuals, cultural and religious groups.
