The A.S. in Computer Science prepares students for transfer to a four-year institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and related STEM fields. The Career-Infused Degree Map integrates academic coursework with career readiness activities that help students develop technical skills, professional competencies, industry awareness, transfer readiness, and workforce preparation.
The number of credits you take each year will determine when you graduate. To graduate on time, you are strongly encouraged to enroll in at least 30 credits toward your degree during the calendar year, including fall and spring semesters and winter and summer sessions. This degree map is designed for students who place into developmental mathematics.
