Chapter  1. OVERVIEW

Section 8 .   The Problem of Evil .

The Problem of Evil - Rational arguments for disbelief.

There appears to be a problem when considering the existence of an All -good or All- perfect and Supreme Being and the existence of moral evil.  How can a god that is all good and all knowing and all-powerful permit evil to occur?  For some this is an inconsistency or a contradiction that can not be resolved and so they take it to prove that such a being can not possibly exist.   Arguments against the existence of god and critics of that argument  will also be examined.
