Accessing Your New CUNY Email Account

Before you can log in to your new CUNY email account, you'll need to sign out of your old QCC student email account in your browser.

 After you see this screen, come back here and proceed to Step 2:

Log in to your new CUNY email account with your CUNY Login username and password (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu).

Go to the Setting up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) section below if you see a "Let's keep your account secure" message after you log in.

Before you can add your new CUNY email account, you'll need to remove your old QCC student email account from the Outlook for Android app. Start by opening Outlook, then tapping the icon in the top left corner of the app:

With the Outlook menu open, tap the settings icon:

In Outlook settings, tap on Accounts:

Tap on your old QCC student email account:

Scroll to the bottom of the account screen and tap Remove Account:

Then tap Remove on the confirmation popup:

Enter your CUNY Login username (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu), then tap Continue:

Log in to your new CUNY email account with your CUNY Login username and password (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu):

Go to the Setting up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) section below if you see a "Let's keep your account secure" message after you log in.

Before you can add your new CUNY email account, you'll need to remove your old QCC student email account from the Outlook for iOS app. Start by opening Outlook, then tapping the icon in the top left corner of the app:

With the Outlook menu open, tap the settings icon:

In Outlook settings, tap on Accounts:

Tap on your old QCC student email account:

Scroll to the bottom of the account screen and tap Remove Account:

Tap Add Account:

Enter your CUNY Login username (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu), then tap Add Account:

Log in to your new CUNY email account with your CUNY Login username and password (firstname.lastname##@login.cuny.edu):

Go to the Setting up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) section below if you see a "Let's keep your account secure" message after you log in.

Press next on the "Let's keep your account secure" screen:

Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone, then press Next:

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone and tap Scan QR code, then click Next in your browser:

Scan the QR code with the Microsoft Authenticator app, then click Next in your browser:

Enter the number that appears on the screen in the Microsoft Authenticator app:

On the Authenticator Added screen, click Done:
