The Tigers pulled out a five-point win over the Kingsborough Wave, as Stephon Medard returned from a three-week long hiatus from taking winter courses to score 20 first half points against a seven-man Wave team. Medard finished with 22.

Medard was one of five Tigers to score in double-digits. Taequann Washington added 19 points, including seven late free throws to ice the game. Tyler Jenkins was a force down-low, with 13 points, Jason Lawrence added 11 and Vincent Georges scored 10. Kingsborough was kept in the game by Kester Chase who scored a game-high 27 points.

A back and forth first half saw the Tigers take a 44-40 lead into halftime. The Wave came out strong in the second, going up 45-44, their first lead since 15-13. With the game tied at 50, the Tigers went on an 11-2 run, which included seven points from Lawrence. The Tigers held off a late rally that saw Kingsborough cut a double-digit lead to five, and had possession of the ball with 15 seconds left, and QCC won 86-81.
