01h: 24m:49s | 274 views

Queensborough held off a furious rally by BMCC to win a tough-fought game 48-46. The teams combined for ten points in the first eight minutes of action. Queensborough went on a 9-4 spurt to end the half and took a 20-15 into halftime.

The Lady Tigers came roaring out of halftime with an 8-0 run to go up by 13. QCC pushed the lead up to 17 with a bucket by Precious Latham and led 40-23 with 7:25 remaining. BMCC cut the lead to nine before Jaclyn Torres hit what looked to be a dagger three-pointer making it 48-36 with 1:45 to go. The Lady Panthers finished the game on a 10-0 run, but ran out of time before they had a chance to tie or win the game.

Game summary written by QCC student David Russell.
