For some, this is a "welcome back" from summer leave. For many who have worked this summer with our students in and outside of the classroom, it is the formal beginning of the academic year.

Please join us to reflect on our accomplishments over the last year, and a "look ahead" to initiatives/activities for 2017-18, a ‘welcome’ to Dr. Tim Lynch, Vice President for Academic Affairs who will address opportunities for (and the positive impact of) faculty engagement in student learning, and a presentation by two of our outstanding faculty, Dr. Sara Danzi-Engoron and Dr. Larissa Honey who will share their experience with an interdisciplinary collaboration between Biology and Anthropology: Multicultural Lab: An Interactive Module on Ancestral Origins, Race and mtDNA.

This event will be an opportunity to catch up with colleagues, meet our newest faculty colleagues, as well as introduce campus leaders in the administration, Academic Senate, Faculty Executive Committee, Student Government Executive Board, and the PSC.
