August, 1991: Raymond Blount, a teenager, is shot and killed outside a nightclub in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. In 1992, Fernando Bermudez was wrongfully convicted of the crime. Mr. Bermudez was falsely identified by eyewitnesses as the murderer, and he was sentenced to 23 years to life in prison.
