The Queensborough Tigers looked for their first home win of the season, hosting regional rival Rockland. Rockland came out of the gate with an 18-3 run, before the Tigers came roaring back. QCC went on a 40-13 run to turn a 15-point deficit into a dozen point lead. A once stagnant Queensborough exploded for 46 first half points, to take a nine point lead at the half. A rejuvenated Rockland team overtook Queensborough, by putting on an offensive display. Rockland scored 53 2nd half points, led by a balanced scoring attack including this crucial put-back by Justin Guzman that gave Rockland a 59-54 lead. The Tigers hopes for a comeback came up short, as they were handed a 90-75 loss.
