Queensborough’s season began with a loss to the BMCC Panthers, with the offense not being able to get on the scoreboard. BMCC who finished third in the conference last year scored two goals in the first half to tame the Tigers.
Klaudio Shala scored two breakaway goals towards the end of the half, the second whixh deflated QCC before halftime. In spite of chippy play from each side, frustration set in as the Tigers were shut out, and dropped the opener 2-0.
