For the second time in a week, Queensborough took care of Bronx CC in straight sets to move up in the standings.
The Lady Tigers went up early, winning the first set 25-19. Then QCC worked on extending its lead, winning the second 25-14.
With QCC looking to take all three sets, the Lady Broncos nearly pulled off a stirring comeback. QCC led 24-18 when Bronx CC tallied five consecutive points, before Queensborough finally put the final nail in the coffin.
