The QCC Men’s & Women’s Swimming Team will start the 2008 Season on Saturday, 11/1/08.

The Men’s Team placed 2nd in the Region XV Championships @ Sunken Meadow Park. Alex Medina won the race.
The Women’s Team placed 3rd in the Region XV Championships @ Sunken Meadow Park.
The Men’s Team placed 1st in the CUNY Championships @ Van Courtland Park. Alex Medina won the race.
The Men’s Team placed 1st in the CUNY Championships @ Van Courtland Park.
Both Teams were declared the 2008 Community College CUNY Champions.

The QCC Athletic Department has received a grant from Queens Public Television (QPTV).
QPTV has agreed to broadcast two Basketball Double Headers. These games will be televised at a later date (TBA).
The Double Headers that will be broadcast are:
Women’s Basketball — Tuesday, 1/6/09 — BMCC @ QCC at 5:30 pm
Men’s Basketball — Tuesday, 1/6/09 — BMCC @ QCC at 7:30 pm
Men’s Basketball — Saturday, 1/17/09 — Suffolk Grant CC at 1:00 pm
Women’s Basketball — Saturday, 1/17/09 — Kingsborough @ QCC at 3:00 pm
