CUNYAC Weekly Honors - Week 3
Keison McIntosh, #5, Queensborough (Fr, G, Brooklyn, N.Y.),
In a 2-0 week for the Tigers, McIntosh averaged 25.5 points per contest and buried 13 three-pointers. He went off for 31 points in an 84-72 win at Monroe and followed that up with a 20-point effort in a 76-71 victory over Sullivan.
Men's Basketball defeats another Top 10 team
Queensborough men’s basketball defeated Sullivan CC, 76-71 on Saturday, 11/18. Sullivan is currently ranked 6th in the nation in the NJCAA Division III Men’s Basketball rankings. The Tigers were led by freshman Keison McIntosh with 20 points, including 6 for 11 from 3-point range. Sophomore Joshua Williams contributed 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists, while sophomore Brandon Segar also contributed big with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks.
2017-18 Season off to a strong start!
Queensborough Men's Basketball defeated Nassau CC, 80-70 last night in their season opener. Nassau is currently ranked 4th in the nation in the NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball rankings. The Tigers were led by freshman Keison McIntosh with 29 points on 10 of 14 shooting, including 8 for12 from 3-point range. Sophomore Joshua Williams contributed 23 points and 10 assists, while sophomore Brandon Segar just missed a triple-double with 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Brandon Segar named All-Region Honorable Mention for Region XV.
CUNYAC Basketball Awards
Brandon Segar was named a Community College Conference All-Star.
Kavon McDonald won the Burt Beagle Sportsmanship Award.
CUNYAC Community College Male Player of the Week
Brandon Segar from Queensborough CC has been named the CUNYAC Community College Male Player of the Week. On 12/13 vs. Rockland CC, Brandon Segar erupted for 26 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. He shot 10-16 from the field while going 5-7 from beyond the arc. Two nights later, versus Bronx CC, the Queens native scored 16 while shooting 5-8 from the field.read more
