    CUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week

    Angelique Yarborough, shot 87.5 percent (14-of-16) from the field in a 31-point performance with 15 rebounds and 10 steals for a triple-double in a win over Kingsborough. She also tallied a game-high 15 and 21 points in the Tigers’ other two games last week. The sophomore leads the conference with 18.3 points per game.

    Giselle Diaz, Freshman, contributed 14 points to a 46-38 victory over BMCC last Tuesday. She drained 4-of-9 shots from three-point range and had four steals. The freshman continutes to lead the Tigers with the best field-goal percentage (51.6%) on the team.

    2018 CUNYAC/Pepsi Community College Women’s Volleyball All-Stars Announced

    The City University of New York Athletic Conference and Pepsi announced their annual community college women's volleyball All-Star honorees and major award winners on Thursday. It was a clean sweep for Queensborough, which clawed its way to a fourth-straight CUNYAC Championship in 2018 on October 22nd.

    For the second year in a row Paola Beniquez was named Player of the Year and for the fourth year in a row Coach Jason Demas was named Coach of the Year. Maria Veliz Thol was named Setter of the Year.
