2017 Men's Baseball team defeats Division 2 No. 13 ranked Lackawanna CC
Tigers defeat #13 Lackawanna Community College (D2)

The Queensborough Baseball team defeated Lackawanna C.C. 4-1 on Friday, March 24th in non-region play. Currently, Lackawanna is ranked 13th in the nation in the NJCAA Division II Top 20 Poll. QCC has now won 3 of their last 4 games and improves to 3-8 overall.

Due to the severe weather on March 14, the following events/games have been CANCELED: Men's & Women's Outdoor Track QCC Relays on March 18th as well as the Men's Baseball doubleheader on March 16th vs. Lackawanna CC.

Devon Duncan- Men's Indoor Track - Freshmen

Devon Duncan is the Queensborough Athlete of the Month for February. The talented freshmen has been a cornerstone of the indoor track team. He has had a busy month, as he has competed in 8 separate events. Devon has been ranked #1 in the CUNYAC conference in the 60 yard hurdles. His success in the hurdles has even earned him a school record, with 8.97 seconds.

Lauren Schmahl - Women's Swimming - Sophomore 

Lauren Schmahl is the Queensborough Athlete of the Month for February. The captain has been very busy as she has competed in the CUNYAC championships, Region championships, and at the NJCAA Nationals. The standout sophomore has lost 17.65 seconds in her 200 breast stroke since the beginning of the season. Lauren also qualified and competed for the 100 yard free and 200 yard free at the NJCAA National tournament.
