Women's Softball Team

Softball will hold an informational team meeting on Wednesday, October 4th at 6:00pm in the RFK Building, Room 201.

Swim Team tryouts
Men’s & Women’s Swimming Team Tryout

Meeting for interested candidates will take place in the RFK Gymnasium lobby at 12pm on September 19th. Tryouts will take place on October 2nd at 3pm in the pool, in the RFK Gymnasium. In order to tryout, all candidates must be enrolled full-time at Queensborough, and must submit a valid physical and medical insurance form no later than September 29th. Women’s Basketball tryouts will begin on October 2nd at 6pm in the RFK Gymnasium. Algor Gervais, Athlete of the Month for September 2017

Men's Soccer - Sophomore

Algor Gervais is the Queensborough Student Athlete of the Month for September. Algor has a had a very busy month and he led the team in goals scored with and recorded 3 assists as well. His efforts has helped the Tigers start off the season with a 4-3 record. His standout performance was against Rockland Community College, where he recorded a pair of goals in a 4-1 victory. Algor looks to continue his success as his team prepares for the CUNYAC and Region XV postseason.

Paola Beniquez, Athlete of the Month for September 2017

Women's Volleyball - #5 - OH- Freshmen

Paola Beniquez is the Queensborough Student Athlete of the Month for September. The rookie sensation has filled up the stat sheets in the month of September as she recorded 111 kills, 36 aces, and 132 digs. The 111 kills for the month leads the team and she has hit near a .400 average for the month, which places her in the top 5 in the nation for hitting percentage. Paola has helped to lead a young Tigers team to an undefeated 9-0 record for the month in Region XV. Her standout performances were against Rockland Community College where she recorded a career high 18 kills in the 3-0 victory and against Bronx Community College, where she collected a career high 9 aces in the 3-0 victory. Both statistical achievements are not only a personal collegiate career high, but a season high for the team as well. Paola looks to continue her success and the teams undefeated regional record as they continue into October and prepare for the post season.
