    The City University of New York Athletic Conference and Pepsi announced their annual community college women's volleyball All-Star honorees and major award winners on Thursday. It was a clean sweep for Queensborough, which clawed its way to a fourth-straight CUNYAC Championship in 2018 on October 22nd.

    Paola Beniquez named CUNYAC Women’s Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the 6th time this season.

    Beniquez tallied another pair of double-doubles in Queensborough’s 3-0 wins against BMCC (13 kills, 11 digs) and FIT (13 kills, 15 digs) on Saturday. The NJCAA Division III leader in aces, Beniquez had nine aces over the weekend.

Men's Soccer - Forward - #17 - Freshmen

Louis Flores is the Queensborough Student Athlete of the Month for September. The talented freshmen has been a big reason for the teams early success. He has recorded three goals and an assist in the team's four wins for the month of September. He even scored the game winning goal against Westchester Community College in a 1-0 victory. Louis and the Tigers look to continue the success as they prepare for the post season.

Women's Volleybal - Outside Hitter - #5 - Sophomore

Paola Beniquez is the Queensborough Student Athlete of the Month for September. The returning NJCAA All American led the Tigers to a perfect 11-0 start to the season. She has led the team in kills and aces for the month of September. Her serving has been so strong that she finished the month leading the nation in serves per set, with over two per set. Her standout performance came the final game of the month, where she recorded a school record 16 service aces against Westchester CC. Her strong performance on the court has also been matched in the classroom, where she finished her first year at QCC with close to a 3.7 GPA. Paola looks to continue her hot start into October and the post season.
