Includes work in a community agency in such areas as cultural affairs, mental health, environment, recreation, urban government, educational institutions, etc., depending upon the interest of the student and the availability of positions. These internships are designed to offer the student part-time, on-the-job professional training. Students are placed with selected agencies for a number of hours per week, and participate in monthly lectures and/or weekly workshops and conferences on campus.
